AN AMERICAN TAIL (Fievel – Um conto americano) - 1987

An American Tail (Fievel, Um Conto Americano) é um filme estadunidense, do gênero animação, dirigido por Don Bluth e produzido pela Amblin Entertainment. O filme conta a história do ratinho Fievel, que é de família judia e mora na Rússia. O sonho deles é emigrar para a América. Só que durante viagem de navio, Fievel é jogado no mar e separado da família. Quando chega aos Estados Unidos, começa sua procura pelos parentes. A trilha sonora composta por JAMES HORNER é belíssima. "Somewhere Out There" foi tema do filme e ganhou o Oscar na categoria Melhor Canção, em 1987. A canção também foi tema da novela Brega & chique da Rede Globo.
